The entire voto cast In this coun
ty at the Presidential election was

lican, "ml Democratic and two
Greenback. The vote of this coun
ty Is fully 1200, but there wore
quite a number of absentees and
some paired off and did not attend
election.
Mr. Richardson, who was blown
a couple of hundred feet Into tho
air at tho time of tho boiler ex
plosion at Empire some time ago,
has recovered and gone to work
again. lie was blown through tho
roof of the building and dropped !r

he started. His case Is probably
without a parallel.

has been logging on his father's

Arrangements have been practical
ly concluded for a Thanksgiving foot
ball game between tho Marshfleld
and North llond Independent teams
to be played at North llend next
Thursday afternoon. The two teams
have been picked out. Ted IClssam
Is coaching the North llend team,
while It Is likely that Weary Chand
ler. "Sue" Jones, an old Iowa foot
ball star and a number of others will
aid in rounding the Marshfleld eleven
into shape.
There was talk of a game here

Is has been called off and it is now
proposed to have the Marshfleld team
piny at Coquille the follouini; week
and arrange for a return game to
