SHOT SHELLS
Cut down your lead Get your bird
with the center of the load
IN the making of shot shells, the great
est forward step since the invention
of smokeless powder is the steel
lining to grip the powder and concen
trate all the drive of the explosion back
of the shot.
Its a Remington special invention
that steel lining. You find it in the
Remington-UMC Arrow andNitro Club.
These steel-lined shells get their shot
to the target quicker than any other
shell known to the shooting fraternity.
They cut down the guess-work about
lead and angles. They put the center
of the load right on your bird.
The steel lining is moisture-proof no
dampness can gel through. Jar-proof
no powder can get out. Water-proof
no energy is lost.

dancing was the principal diversion
was kIvoii by the "Swedish Lutheran
Ladies' Aid." Mc thinks that some
one must have maliciously started
tho report. At first It was not
stated, that tho social waa a dance,
Hut Rov. llcnson .Investigated It
and says It wns. ConcornltiK tho
I'ffalr, Rev. llcnson says:
'Tills 'social' affair proved to bo
nothitiK elso but u dance. It Is
preposterous to sny tho least that
a dance would be hold under the
auspices of a Lutheran Ladies' Aid,
further, tho Lutheran Church strong
ly denounces dancing and would
certainly not penult a danco to bo
given under tho auspices of any of
Its organizations. WJmt Individuals
do tho Church can not ho held re
sponsible for. This correction is
published iu order that tho public
who may havo somo knowledge of
tho affair may bo put right. Tho
dance was given by Individuals, not
by the Ladles' Aid. None of tho
olllcers of the society wero present,
nor had any action for giving such
a 'social' been taken within tho so
ciety, everything was dono without
tho knowledgo of tho pastor or
the society ns such'. Let Individu
als bu more caroful after this under
whose auspices thoy glvo their 'so

name of a Lutheran Church or
