THE HONNET OF FORTY-ONE.
The bonnet of eighteen forty-one
An the bonnet of nlneteen-nlne
"What would they say If they chanced
to meet,
And what would I choose for
mine?
Fashions change and the shapes are
old,
But'the faces beneath the brim,
Ah, they are the same In the sweet
heart flame
As they were In the days grown
dim!
Under the bonnet of fifty-one
-The eyes that were twinkling then
Had the dear same look when their
beams o'ertook
The gleam In the hearts of men;
The old-time ladies were ladles still.
With youth and the eyes of blue,
And men wrote sonnets to old-time
bonnets
Aa men now write to tho new!
One of tho bonnets' of fifty-one
I saw It the other day.
With tho faded bows and its old
primrose
And tho little silk ribbons of gray;
Under the attic rafters hung,
Through the shadows I saw it
gleam
And out of the shadows she danced
and sung
The lass of my boyhood dreams!

CURED HAY FEVER
AND SUMMER COLD
A. S. Nusbauni, Batesvllle, In
diana, writes: "Last year I suffered
for three months with a summer
cold so distressing that it Interfered
with my business, I had many of the
symptoms of hay fever, and a doc
tor's prescription did not reach my
case, and I took several medicines
which seemed only to aggravate it.
Fortunately I insisted upon having
Foley's Honey and Tar. It quickly
cured me. My wife has since used
Foley's Honey and Tar v with the
same success." RED CROSS Phar
