Bicyclist Hurt. A IJach of Fern
dale was slightly hurt In a bicycle
accident on Broadway yesterday. His
wheel struck a rough spot, throwing
him to the ground and breaking the
frame of the bicycle.
Physicians Meet. The Coos
County Medical Society held a rog
ular meeting In Marshfield last even
ing. The principal erent of tho pro
gram was a paper by Dr. Taggart
which was followed by a general discussion.

Coos Bay country realize the amount
of building there Is going on herein
dicating the growth and development
now In progress. In addition to tho
2,000,000 or more feet of plank that
is being used in the construction ot
streets in tho city of Marshfield
besides the many blocks of bituminous
rock paving now being put in, tho
new $75,000 Chandler hotel, tho
$50,000 High School In Marshfield
and the $40,000 High School in
Noith Bend, and other big
