OREGON' STRAWBERRIES.
- The writer had the privilege of
sampling some of S. S. Little's straw
berries last Sunday and to 6ay that
they were fine would only be putting
it in a mild form. Mr. Little has
about two acres of berries and they
give promise of a big yield this year,
and are now beginning to ripen quite
rapidly. Coos county is one of the
best fruit counties in the United
States and it is only a matter of a
few years until our fruit will be go
ing all over the country.
Mr. Little's berry patch is only one
of many that are being put out In
this Immediate community, and in
every instance the fruit is doing
well. This is also a good apple coun
try as has already been demonstrat
ed, and in fact we can raise all kinds
of fruit. Bandon Recorder.
