to ho pharged non-resident pupils of
tho local schools was raised from $5,
$7.50 and ?10 per term to $10 flat
per term or $30 per year. Tho
school board decided tha,t, this was
oily fair to the property owners of
Marshfield who wore paying taxes
to build and,., maintain, a gpod sys
tem, Tho advance In tuition will fall
"heaviest on the suburbs, especially
tho Hunker Hill and Day Park .dis
tricts which recently voted against
consolidation with tho Marshfield
schools.
. The annual salary of tho clerk was
raised from $100 to $150 por year.
John, P, Hall has Just been reelected
clerk after serving sixteen years con
secutively in that capacity.
