field school Friday afternoon. Tho
building was vacated in one minute
and forty-five seconds. Tho drill wns
vory orderly and no confusion was
apparent.
Tho movements of tho-pupils were
made with the alertness aud precision
of militia, and was a compliment to
tho teachers' methods, as well as tho
system and management, handling
tho 500 in this brief space of time.
A flro drill was also hold at tho
North Bend school. Tho time was re
ported as two minutes.
