North Bend Council Meeting.

Alderman van Zile, who was a
Marshfield visitor yesterday, said it

Homer Coming. A telegram re
ceived from San Francisco yester
day stated that tho steamer Homer
left that port Wednesday afternoon:
about 4:30 o'clock. With favorable,
weather conditions the boat should,
arlvo In Coos Bay some time Friday.
W. C. BRADLEY has returned from
a business trip to tho valley and
coast towns and reports business
conditions prosperous all along the
line. The coast towns are all anx
ious for boat communication with
Coos Bay.
"oOO" Dancing Club. On next
Friday night a new dancing club
will make its Initial bow to Coos
Bay society. Tho organization will
be known as the "600" dancing culb.
It will bo composed ofwell known

given him world wide prestige, la

for a visit. Mr. Miller has several
relatives here whom ho has not seen
for some years.

was held last night in Dr. J. T. Mc
Cormac's office at which tho of

bond election on March 14 formally
agreed on. Tho resignation of Mrs.
Kelly, teacher of tho 430 nth grado
