Mrs. Kruso, of Isthmus Inlet, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Watson, of this city. Miss Esther Mallstrom, of Minne apolis, is visiting with relatives on Coos Bay for a few weeks. Mr. G. A. Gould was in this city attending to business affairs yester day. Mr. Fred McLain, of Myrtle Point, Is spending a few days in Marshfleld attending to business affairs. Mr. Jack Mageo came over from tho Cotjulllo country yesterday for the flrst time In two years. Mr. Ma gee remarked that he saw great changes in that time on Coos Bay. Mr. Frank Black, of Sumner, is visiting a few days in Marshfleld, and Incidentally attending to business affairs. Miss Annie Lawser passed through Marshfleld yesterday on her way to Bandon, where she will remain for a lew days visiting with relatives. Mrs. Davo Cowan, of Coquille, passed through this city yesterday on Tier way to Coos River, where she will visit for some time with her parents. Mr. F. S. Seal, of San Francisco, is a visitor on Coos Bay for a few weeks attending to business affairs and vis iting with friends. Notice is hereby given that a general municipal election of the city of Marshfleld, Coos county, Oregon, will bo held at tho council chamber at tho City Hall of said city on Tuesday tho 3rd day of December, 1907, for tho purpose of electing a mayor for tho term of two years, and two councilman for the term of three years, and a recorder for' tho term o,f ono year; that at said election the following charter amendments re ferred to tho people by tho common council will bo voted on: "To extend tho corporate limits," and "To increase tho limit of in debtedness." That J. R. Lightner, John Bear and A. P. Owen have been appoint ed as judges of the said election and C. H. Marsh, Clarence Pennock and L. R. Robertson have been appointed clerks of said election.
