Only a few more games remain to
be played by the C003 County Base
Ball League and fnns must Improve
tho rest of the season if they wish to
Bee the most exciting part of the
pennant race. The games have been
well attended on this side of the
county, but with a smaller popula
tion on tho other side, the attendance
lias not been eo large. Yet, none of
the teams have lost money and all
of them are some ahead after having
purchased suits and other material.
North Bend and Marshfield jour
ney to Coquille and Bandon today
ana win essay to win botii games.
It is really essential for North Bend '
to win from Coquille if there is to
be any great interest in the games '
to follow. One more winning places
Coquille safely in line for the chain-,
pionship and Peralta believes his '
team can turn the trick today. North
Bend has a pitcher new to the lead- I
ers and may be able to hold the Co
quille team down and beat them. In
this instance, tno race will assume
additional interest and North Bend
and Marshfield will be accordingly
encouraged to try harder for the re
mainder of tho season. North Bend
and Marshfield will line up in about
the same way they did last Sunday
when tho latter won out by a score
of four to two. A considerable crowd
of enthusiasts are planninn to ac-'
company tho teams to Coquille and '
Tho Ncrth Bend Itr.m bus been

opponents on the other side.
