1. Because IT is, and aLvays will be, the central trading point for all of the rich agricultural country tributary to Coos- River,
Catching, Ibtlnnus and Coalbank Inlets.
2. Because IT ib the banking center of a large and wealthy distiict.
3. Because IT is the terminus of the raihoad which at present supplies trade conn3ction with the fcrtlio Coquillc Valley and
its growing cities of Bandon, Myrtle Point and Coquillc, and which, when extended either along the Coast or to Roseburg, will bring
the products of other rich sections of the state to deep water at Marshfield
