The company has leased four wires from Boise to Nampa of the two telephone companies. This will be in addition to the direct wire now used as duplex to Tt'Lake which will be equipped for iual service during the trials. This Manager Hacke'tt states, will give the local office a service of 10 more cir cuits than now or 14 circuits alto gether. The service will be ready by ifce.middle of this week and as soon ready for work Chief Operator PCoDonnell of Seattle will come and throughly test the system to see that everything is In perfect working order. i The best operators, and dispatch ers to be found in the west are to, be sent to Boise 'for this special ork. The coming of R. J. Kennedy of New York, who is to have charge of the Associated Piesp work in Boise during the Moyer-Haywood-Pettibone trials, Is an Indication of how the case is viewed by the Associated Press, which necessarily gets its ideas of values direct from the 800 papers It serves. Mr. Kennedy has for the past several months been general superintendent of the system, and befoio that had for a year been night manager in the New York of- flee. He will bo assisted by an ef ficient force. One of these is Martin Egan, who arrived yesterday afternoon, with his wife. Mr. Egan was In charge of the Toklo office during the Japanese-Rus sian war. Later he went to London to take charge of that office. His wife, too, is a writer known to fame. Under the pen name of ' 'Eleanor Franklin," she has written much for Oolller.s and for Leslies. C. B. J Lucky, an expert telegraph operator, ' will send out the reports of the As sociated Press. He Is from Salt ' Lake. He and wifo and baby arrived ' yesterday. All Intcrcsti'd. J Mr. Kennedy, speaking of the gen eral interest in the cases, said: i "People all over the country are interested in the trial. The whole people, north, south, cast and west, are interested in the stand of Idalio. Many published reports in connection with the case and the history leading up to it, are misleading. The Asso ciated Press is here to cover the case impartially and fully. Arrangements have been made that we believe will enable us to furnish a report of the trial to the 800 papers through the country giving all the facts and none of the fiction.
