It is a little singular that North­
field, the home of Mr. Moody, should
be the scene of the first demonstra­
tion within the Church against th*
doctrinal basis of his method of evan­
gelic work. The Unitarians, it seems,
have taken offense at something that
has been said or done in these North­
field meetings, and tbe pastor of the
village church of that denomination,
preached a sermon embodying', *
ries of vigorous assaults on orthodoxy.
There were four count* in his indict­
