Knight of Dayton, who has been for a
long time an invalid, grew worse lately,
and, in company with Dr. Dodson, Visited
Portland a few days since for thlc pur-
pose of placing himself under medical
treatment, and a bath being recommen
ded, he placed himself in one anl was

lenghth of time, the suspicions of Dr.
Dodson were aroused that all was not go-
