and the Democratic members who came

dred majority at their backs, installed in

worthies (Brents and NcKean) from the
vote on the “amendment” and that bant­
ling of corruption and perfidy falls still
born so far as Oregon is concerned. -

the 27th of next month to be called the
° Oregon City Enterprise.” It has not
transpired what the politics of the con-
cern will be. The proprietor is equal to
the task of adjusting that matter without
any dificulty.

than once been compelled to draw on the
Democratic party for brains to keep the

alogue Laughlin in his seat, while if they
regard his oath as being worth anything
they must know that he is not eligible to
a seat. He is Black.
