With William J. Bryan as chairman and all the candidates defeated for the democratic nomlna tlon for president as members, the advisory committee of the democratic national committeo for the 1912 cam pal en was announced. P. CLARK . Auctioneer JURY UNABLE TO AGREE Rooeburg Brewery Case Dismissed by Judge. Roseburg. Unable to agree after a deliberation of 12 hours, the jury em paneled to listen to the evidence in tho case of the Roseburg Brewing & Ico company and its five directors, charged with violating the local option laws, was discharged by Judge Hamil ton. The Jury stood six for conviction and six for acquittal. Following the dismissal of the jury District Attorney Brown informed the court that ho was in readiness to pro ceed and try the defendants on anoth er Indictment In this he was opposed by Judge Hamilton, who said the re mainder of the brewery cases wo'uld go over until tho regular term of court In November. In explaining his position Judge Hamilton said the present jury was disqualified to try the remaining brew ery cases, which are similar to tho one disposed of. Attendance at State Fair Larger Salem. By tho narrow mnnrln of 7G1, the paid admissions nt this year's state fair exceeded the paid admis sions of last year's fair.
