Dog Bites Boy Lionel, the nine year old soil of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hobson, was severely bitten on the riht arm last Tuesday evening by n bitf black dope belonging lo Mr. Cooper; both families live near the Oregon Trunk depot. The boy had been sent to the Cooper home on an errand, and before knocking at the door stopped to give the old dog an affectionate pat on the head, when without warning the brute sprang on the boy, sinking his fangs deep in his arm. The little fellow let loose a couple of healthy yells which brought assistance. He was hurried to Dr. Snook's drug store 'where the wounds were cauterized. Chief Taylor was summoned to administer "to the dog. He led him slowlv out towards Willow Creek and" there in the shadow of a sighing Juniper badly wounded him with his trusty .44. The dog made a big mistake the next day, however, by appearing at the scene of his crime. This time the executioner's aim was better and Carlo will bite no more. Notice The ladies of the Chnstinn church de sire to thank alt those who assisted with donations and work at the chicken dinner last evening, and also the public for their libe.al patronage.
