Frank Prutt was brought before
Judge Jackson Tuesday charged with
carrying concealed weapons. lie plead
ed guilty to the charge but stated that
someone had slipped the weapon in his
pocket without his knowledge. The
judge fined him f 10 and coats, the mini
mum penalty under the statutes.
Hnlfour, Guthrie Co., report the pur
chase this week of two cars of wheat
from Hugh Davis, John Evick, Chas.
Dillon and II. Links, well known farm
ers living nt the north end of Agency
Plains. The price paid for the wheat
was CG and G7 cents per bushel. It is
to be loaded on the cars at Mecca.

to benefit the grain crop, it had its
good effect in putting an end to the
ravnging forest fires in the mountuins
and laying the dust to an extent that
traveling over the roads from now on

0. W. It. & N. depot is nennng com
pletion, the pump nnd engine have
been put in place, water pipes are all
in nt the depot and stock yards and it
is expected to have wuter in the tank
this week.
