crops. On land of this kind drainage,
irrigation, dikes, lale plowing and rot
ting send could all bo done away with
If tho subsoil or hardpan were jwoperly
broken up.
There Is only one practical way to
upturn and acrato these lower soils
or to shatter hardpan, and that is by
blasting.
