The town of Hilhnan, through an action taken by its commer cial club, is hereafter to be known as Smithrock. While the! townsite is located stragetically I for city, so much undesirable! notoriety was given the name J Hillman through the wildcat pro- motors that it has come to be a reproach, and now the people; who wish to build a real town j where the dream town was said to be, desire to get out from under the ban that attaches to, the name, and have selected the j name of Smithrock, which car- j ries with it the historic memory , i of the three days' battle which! Capl. Smith and his brave sol-j diers fought with the Piute In- j dians in that vicinity. Its a good solid name that has been chosen, and Smithrock ought to build upon it. m &)rrM Jjj&n i i l a m vscxsaa rr rcarz icasssBa Rams. iKSfe-. f3mgsS B 19 IffvW!
