S. Brown ranch at Haystack, to Madras, has been completed, and a central office will shortly be established at Snook's drugstore. When this is done this line will furnish means of communication through Prineville to all parts of the southeastern portion of the county and will also -connect, it is understood with the new Agency Plains line which is now under construction, from Madras to Mecca, on the De schutes river,, at which point connections will be made with the line through Warmspring Re servation.
