Eleven ''undesirables" were ordered to leave the city during June burn accompanied the body here. Interment was held Sunday at the Methodist Hill Cemetery, and the services were conducted by llev. G. Some think it cost too much; others think It a bum job, whi e yet another faction hold that the City of Madras did not officially order the tank limit, that 19 was to be provided for by private subscription. All claims for building and fitting up this tank wert referred to the committee on finance f r investigation. Iteichen, with a party of friends, was in bathing and ihe water was not very deep but swift. It is supposed that he was caught by an undercurrent and kept from coming to the suriace, alter tne nrsi nine smit ing. The body was recovered from the river about one hour after the accident, and there mains were immediately pie pared for shipment to his par ent's home nearnadras. His sister and brother, Maggie and John Reichen of Portland, and Elder G. L. Neil of Wood- the highest bidder, at 9:45 o'lock a. m on the 9th day of August 1910.
