J. C. Cockeiham nnd Wjll Harber were
in town Tuesday from their homes near
Culver, Mr. Cockerham is from Duller,
Oiegon, and owns considerable property
in the Madras and Culv'er districts. (
County court is in session this week,
lodge lillis and Commissioner Bayley
taking up minor matters 90 Wednesday.

are many things before the court of great
interest to the county. A lot of trouble
some Madras road petitions arc to be dis
posed of this term,
Tillman Teuter was in town from Mad
ras last Friday and Saturday. He says
real estate prives are going1 up there,
ranchers holding their dry lands at about
S20 per acre. Madras is on the boom
now with railroad construction camps as
the mainspring of activities.
