Stanley Grewell was in lown Tuesday from fits ranch at the mouth of Sage llruh canyon. He has about 20 acres in alfalfa on (he crtek and is planning to gn into the hog business on an extensive scale. He nlrcady has 89 head of hogs and will increase the number as he has a splendid place to run them profitably . Mr Grewell is also planting a portion of the land along the creek to fruit, which he thinks will do well there. He expects to have five acres in fruit this Fall. At the recent state eighth grade exam inations 44 pupils in Crook county schools passed and are now eljgible to take up the high school work.
