MVSTEfilOUS DOUBLE
TRAGEDY AT REDM9H0
News has been received here of a dou
ble tragedy at Redmond last StindaVi
Louis II. Woiley and his wife having
been found dead by a neighbor at their
ranch near that place. Worley and his
wife were n bride and groom of only four
days, Mrs. Worlcy having arrived from
Chicago on Wednesday of last week for
the purpose of nianylng Worlcy. They
went lo the ranch immediately after the
wedding, and Sunday a neighbor who
went to call on them found the body of
the husband In the barn, and the body of
the wife in the charred ruins of their
home, which was burned to the ground.
Complete mystery surrounds the trag
edy. Worley was a prospeiods 'settler on
one of the best Irrigated farms near Red
mond. A $2 calibre revolver was found
near the body of Worley, which' gave rise
to the theory that h'e hid killed his wife,
burned the house and then killed himself
An investigation by the coronor's jury,
however, failed td disclose any signs of
violence on the wnninn's body.
