They were traveling in, the large 6o horse power Thomas car which Mr. McCully is putting on a regular passen ger run between Shaniko and Prineville. Mr. O'Ncil, who came direct from Port land, says preparations are going ahead rapidly in the Hartiman offices on the plans for the construction of the Des chute railroad, and he made the predic tion that actual construction woik would i begin in io days. Mr. O'Neil's visit to this section .was not official, although he was making some inquiries as to the pas senger trallic which could be expected when the Deschutes road is built. Theo.
