Zfmely thought for the welfare of t tie
town and community, in the upbuild- j

shall Still fee! an Interest.
About three years ago we first sau
the present site -f Madras. We thn
predicted that In a. very few years
this town would be the county Feat of
one of the wealthiest, and one of the
prelt'est. counties of the Pacific Coast.
Our opinion has not changed Mndrn
is growing as rapidly as it can well do,
but its present growth will be ex

suitable quantities shall he available.

INCORPORATE.
The laws of Oregon recite that "Any
portion of a county in this state con

incorporated.' It ia only by this'
means that you can

site. Let me urge you to beautify ii
