Niagara Falls."
Melodrama is associated in many
minds with blotxl curdling murders, and
a series of incidents, seemingly invented
to give the villain a chance to plot and
the heroine an opportunity to weep or
scream.
"Over Niagara Falls" in a plensant
exception to this rule and the f. ur acts
are replete with incidents, relieved by a
comedy of aj high order. Of course
virtue triumphs over vice and the hero
ine has her inning in the end, but the
plot is ingeniously unfolded and the
people w ho built the play have worked
