Burgess Catching, a 15-year-old boy, son of L. Catching, formerly of Riddle, but now a resident of Angels Camp, Calif., pleaded guilty to a charge of lar ceny, in Justice Bucbanan'a court, Thursday. The crime was- committod last Saturday while the young man was employed at Glide, by Ransome So per, as a wood cutter. Young Catching ap propriated $20 of Mr. Soper's monoy and then left for Riddle. Geo. Yokum, of Riddle, a cousin of the boy, came to this city, Saturday, and turned over to the court the sum of f 15, which the boy had given to him to purchase a ticket to California for him.
