Ferguson, who has been at the Salem Sanitarium for some time, is expected home this evening. The first Christian Science lecture ever given in Roseburg, was listened to by a very large and admittedly highly representative audience in the Opera House Tuesday, Nov. 17th, at 8 p. m. The lecturer, Judge Septimus J. Han na, member of the board of lectureship of The First Church of Christ, Scientists, of Boston Mass., was introduced by the Hon. O. P. Coshow in a very pleasant and illustrative speech, comparing the nnparalled material progress of these great United States with the still great er spiritual advancements.
