This land is the Oregon Central Mili
tary Road laud grant, which oei

state line. It crosses Khimuth Cornty
and that reservation, goes cast by Lake-
view, and in a winding direction thence
to the eastern boundary of Oregon, in
the Jordon Valley. - It ineluds all the
odd tactions on each side of such line, a
width of several miles, and involve one
of the most gig.tntic laud grants that
the Pacific North-west has ever known.
The deal has lieen on forioiue time,
options having lieeu taken from the
owners, Frisco wope, by the Booth
Kelly Company, who have now, it is
said on authority, completed the pay
ment and closed the deal. Immense
