The contract for drilling the lirt 1500

ley Oil Company, at Myrtle Creek, was
completed recently and so well pleased
is the company and principal stock liold
era with the splendid prospects at this

ties by going a little further dow n, that
a little more stock has been placed on
the market and is readily taken at 30
cents a share, the receipts from which
will be used in siuking the well 500 feet
deeper if necessary. Mr. Marsh, the

his line of work, having had yearn of
exericnce in the Pennsylvania and Vir
ginia oil fields, is very sanguine over
the outcome of the drilling operations
at this well and is securing all the land
he can in the immediate vicinity of this
plant. By President McCoy and Scre

plenty of means are at hand to continue
drilling orations and that Mr. Marsh
the driller, has been instructed to re
sume active operations, at the well
again next week. The drill now being
in fine oil sands with considerable oil in
evidence it is generally predicted that
only a little further down oil of a fine
