Sudden Death of John Canady.
Tbe many frionds of John Canady, an
old and highly esteemed cltissn of. Oak
land, were greatly surprised (o lesrn ot
his sadden domiae last Fridsy Oct. 18,
1901, at bis borne. He was walking
about bis place conversing with a friend,
Prof. Jas. Young, wbea be was stricken
