Hamlin, Republican nominees for county clerk and school superintendent, respect ively, are both gentlemen eminently qualified for the positions of public trust to which tbey aspire. Both are well and favorably known in Douglas county. Tbey served nearly a year in tbe Fili pino .war and returned boms clotbed with honors justly won in defense of the Stars and Stripes.
