He crossed the plains with an ox team ia 1S04, and Gret settled on Coe Darlaod'a present place on the Calapooia. After a few months visit with relatives and old friends Mr. Jlain will return to his Coos county farm. He is an old standby of (his paper and we wish him a safe and pleasant trip.
