Sec. 15. Thit the silver coins of the United States shall Jbe a trade dollar, a half-dollar, or 50-ceat piece; a quarter dollar, or 25-cent piece, a dime or 10-cent piece, and the weight cf the trade dollar shall be 420 grairs trov; the weight of the halt-dollar shall be 121- grams; the qoatter-dollar and the dime shall Le. respectively, one-half and one-fifth of the weigh: of said hall-dollar ; and said coins shall be a legal tender at their nominal voice for any amount not ex cedin; $0 in any one payment. Sec. 10. That the minor coins of the United States shall be a 5-cent piece, a 3-cent piece and a 1-cent piece, and the alloy for the 5- and 3-cent pieces shall be of copper and nickel, to be composed of three-fourths copper and one-fourth niclle, and the alloy of the 1-cent piece snail le 95 percentnm of tia and zinc, in such proportion as shall, be determined l y the director of the mint. The weight nl the piece of 5 cents shall be 77.16 grains troy ; of the3-cest piece, 45 grains, which coins shall be a legal lender at tueir nominal value for any amount cot exceeding 25 cents in anyone payment S5ec. 17.
