It consists in pul verizing the quartz, then submit it for 3 or 4 days to a Eolation of cyanide of potass. Then this solution is drawn off and copper platea placed in it for a while. Tho copper plates will attract the soluble particles of gold. After these plates have taken up all the gold, form a film on the copper plates, to get the gold the plates ara submitted to an acid which dissolves them and leaves the gold. lOccuts.
