gatta during the week of August 1S-22
which will include the State Firemen's
tournament. The battleship Oregon will
be in the harbor duriug the week, and

between two of the fastest schooners on
the Pacific coast. Astoria is making
great preparations for the event, and ex
jects to entertain at least 10,000 people.
