A Sunday Sermon.
Last Sunday Rot. G. Y. Kennedy, re
cently appointed pastor ol tho M. E.
cbnrch Lcre, occupied the pulpit of that
cbaicliaod delivered a most impressive
discourse, making a comparison between
the life of (Lb world and the life to
come. We have scarcely ever witnessed
a coo cregalion apparently bo impressed
by the utterance of a divine as we wit
nessed last Sunday. Iter. Kennedy has
a nicely modulated voice, a clear and
distinct enunciation, his gestured are
easy and graceful, and he manifests an
earaeetnees in the work before him.
Committees were appointed to call on
noo cbnrch going people, in looking to
the interests of the Sunday school urging
all children to attend. At the com
mencement of his pastoral work in
Koseborg he manifests a determination
to put forth every effort to accomplish
the purpose lor which he was appointed,
that of winning souls to the cause of his
master. S.
