Kevnolds have leofcvl the school laud generally known as the Jefse McCnlloch place, and jlr. Swift has moved on and taken tK&ses$iou of the same. I think that is the proper thins to do. Since writing the above I have learned of the death of John Fisher, who died suddenly some time today. Mr. Fisher went oat in the morning to work on a ditch that he intended to ose for mining purposes, and bis son?, Fred and Will, went lo Gnrney's mill for lumber and was gone all day and when they relumed home they were tolJ by Fred's wife that his fattier had not been to the bouse since leaving in the morning. So the two brothers became alarmed T.and started in search of him, and on going to tbe mining ditch found him lying on his face, dead. Y. It. Wells, J. P., was immediately sent for, who summoned a jury to hold an inquest over tbe remains. The jury consisted of the following named gentlemen : James Byron, C. L. Kestcr, M. L. Boshccll, John Hogan, Fred Byron .and Joe Simmons. C. L. Keeter was chosen foreman. The fol lowing verdict was rendered: "We, the jury appointed to inqure into the cause of the death of John Fisher, deceased, find that death resulted from heart fail ure or paralysis."
