Garrett, who is well and favorably known to most citizens of Clackamas county, has kindly offered his services to aid ns in increasing ihe circulation of the Exteupklse in this part of Oregon, and while we would urge upon ail citizens the importance of sustain ing their county press, we wish to recom mend .Mr. Garrett to them, and trust that none may be found who will feel con strained to omit complying with his re-que.-ts. which, taken in the proper sense, is to their own direct benefit. Clackamas J county, one ot the weakhient on the coast, outer in Oregon or California, has claims upon the generosity of the Government, npon the Slate, and upon the world at 1 a rge. To properly represent these claims is our purpose and in this work we ask only such assistance from the residents of the county as will be readilv accorded bv all as our just dues.
