Description and Pedigree.
TURK is 10 years old this Spring.
His sire was Arabian, out of a Timo
leon mare. His dam was French. He
is a dark chestnut sorrel, with white
points, 17 hands high and weighs 1,500
pounds in working condition. Compe
tent judges agree that his colts will
compare favorably with any yet pro
duced in the State, and he is highly
recommended by the leading stock-j-aisers
of this and Douglas county,
where he has made several seasons.
