have advanced proportionately with

labor at Washington is about to pub
lish a bulletin containing the results
of its investigations into ibis matter.

that wages and the advanced cost of
living have fairly kept pace with each
other, taking the country as a whole.

Iowa City. Oct. 19.—The Rock Island
