City Drug Store Jacksonville Oregon,
Once or twice a year the good bouae-
wife has a thorough house cleaning. The
house has been swept and dusted every
day in tile year, but the housewife knows
that in spite of vigilance dust accumu
lates in cracks and corners, and ia only
to be removed by special effort.
It’s the same way with the body. You
look after it every day. You take all
the on I i nary precautions of cleanliness
and health. Yet the body needs its
special cleaning to rid it of the accumu
lations of waste and poisonous matter
which invite diaeaae. Doctor Iherce’a
Golden Medical Discovery, taken regu
larly once or twice a year, would save
many a sickness. It purifies the blood,
strengthens the stomach, and cleanses
the body of poisonous accumulations.

Orderly Habit*.
“It Is a curious fact,” commented a
umn recently, “that almost no mother
realizes the importance of bringing her
sen up to orderly habits. She Impresses
upon her daughters from the time they

rooms tidy, put away articles after use
and care for their belongings at all

“All well—all happy—lots
of fun”. That is the regular
report from the monkey cage
of Barnum’s Circus ever since
the keepers began dosing the
monkeys with Scott’s Emul
sion. Consumption was carry
ing off two thirds of them
every year and the circus had
to buy new ones.
One day a keeper accident
ally broke a bottle of Scott’s
Emulsicn near the monkey
cage ar.d the monkeys eagerly
lapped it up from the floor.
This suggested the idea that it
might do them gccd. Since
then the monkeys have received
regular doses and the keepers
report very few deaths from
consumption. Of course it’s
cheaper to buy Scott’s Emul
sion than new monkeys—and
that suits the circus men.
Consumption in monkeys
and in man is the same disease.
If you have it or are threaten
ed with it can you
take the hint?
This picture represents
the Trade Mark of Scott’s
Emulsion and is or, the
wrapper of every bottle.
