made for an extraordinary dryness or
moisture of the article weighed or.

Wheat flour, 1 pound is 1 quart.
Indian meal, 1 pound 2 ounces are
1 quart.
Butter, when soft, 1 pound is 1
quart
Loaf sugar, broken, 1 pound is 1
quart
White sugarpowdered, 1 pound 1
ounce is one quart.
Best brown sugar, 1 pound 2 ounces
are 1 quart.
Ten eggs are 1 pound.
Sixteen large tabiespoonfals are 1
pint
Eight large tablespoonfuls are a half
pinti
Four large tablespoonfuls are 1 gill.
Two gills are a. half pint
A common-sized tumbler holds half
a pint.
Aafrdinary ieacup is 1 gill.
