The Board of Trustees met this evening, pursuant to adjournment. A full Board was present. The meeting was called to order by President Beckman. The record of the two previous meet ings was read and approved. The Finance Committee, to whom was referred the annual statement of the Town Treasurer, reported that on examination they find the same cor rect. Report accepted and Treasurer s report ordered filed. The following bills were allowed and ordered paid : Judge & Nunan, $20; Fire Wardens, $20; II. I’ape, $13.75; Sachs Bros., $1.50. Total, $55.25. The Committee on the Street Commis sioners’ road report sent the same back without recommendation. On motion, the said report was recommitted to the same committee, with instructions to examine said report and recommend some definite action thereon. The following bills were presented : F. Grob, Marshal’s bill for past year, $125; U. S. Hayden, Recorder's bill $71.50; stationery, $2.25. Referred to the usual committee. The bonds of the Treasurer and Marshal were approved. The ordinance restraining cows from running at large at night was called up, when an amendment was proposed. No vote being had on the amendment, itwe.it over to the next meeting. .Mr. Judgo called attention to the matter of fencing up part of Sixth street, On motion, an order was passed requiring the fence to be re- moved from off the street forthwith by the Street Commissioner. An order was passed directing the Street Commissioner to have the filth and rubbish on C street, between Ore gon and Third, taken away and the street put in good order without delay. An ordinance was passed requiring the property owners on the south side ofCstreet, between Oregon and Third, to construct sidewalks, adjacent to their premises, of plank or gravel—the work to be done under the supervision of the Street Commissioner, the same as required in laying down all side walks.
