The reason for all Ibis burden being lifted from all vour shoulders is that the little ring, with self-sacrificing devotion to the interests of others without parallel, have done this little work for you. The style of concocting and hatching out this little matter is easily explained. A few men got together and formed a ring. They were all soreheads of course. They authorized certain par ties to meet, form a convention anil nominate a ticket. Now when apoliti cal ring selects certain persons to per form a c rtain deefi, will not those per sons perform that work ? Then doe' not the little ring in the dark allev with the tallow candle virtually nom inate the ticket ? This is a little of the shortest spurred • lunghill that was ever hatched to de ceive an intelligent community. He was incubated, hatched, nurtured, grew and was matured by less than half a dozen of the most stupendous political frauds that ever festered on a body politic. We are very much mistaken if the people wi I take any stock in this abortion, the ring to the contrary not withstanding. THE CHRONICLES 1. And it came to pass in the.fourth year of the reign of (¡rover the Salem ite that the people in the land of Jaxon were to raise up from among them rulers. 2.
