for $1,000. “Barney” is a fine,
promising animal, and the price
given is none too large.
A rrested .—An Indian named
Monewall was this week arrested for
drawing a pistol on various persons,
and had an examination before Jus­
tice Turner, who tined him $10 and
costs, in default of which he was sent
to jail.

menced a series of lectures at the
Court House last Thursday evening,
and will conclude them to-morrow
(Sunday) at 11 o’clock A. M. He will
hold a discourse this evening, com­
mencing at half-past seven.

Bros, will hohl another meeting at
Veit’s Hall next Friday afternoon
from 2 o’clock until 5, for the pur­

is a sufficient guarantee that this

every particular. Everybody is
invited to attend.
