ter, ending this month, closed last Friday.
Tiiis is the second term of Prof. R >bb and
Lady in this district, whose excellent man
agement of this school has given the l»igh°sl
satisfaction to the patrons ; good order and
discipline has been mildly and quietly co
forced, to that prudent degree that has hud
the happy effect of engendering the kindest
understanding between the pupils anti teach
ers. The average number attending has-
been 95 throughout the entire term. And it
is to be hoped that Prof. R >bb’s services will
be permnrentlv aecurcd to the people <»•
Jacksonville. The s •hool will open Monday
next, and it is important that all pupils be
entered the first day of the term.
