The large saw mill plant, (hat belonged to J J I Jones, four miles north ol here, was today sold to the Sugar-I'ilie Dot.r & Lumber Com puny, of (irauts Pass. Thu plant consists of a largo sawmill omplide, hix miles of Hume, a factory und a diyhousc, tiPpur track and loOO acres of first-class Iir and cedar. The iniil is in the center of this large belt of timber. Mr Jones has been operating the plant to its full capacity, since its com plcibn over a year ago, and was obliged to turn oil' many orders. The contractors ou the jetty works employ forty to fifty men. Tbey are rushing the work, not stopping for Sunday. They are depositing stone ou the jetty at the rate of 400 tons per day.
